Biography
Michael Torres is a partner and head of the firm's criminal defense practice. A former federal prosecutor, Michael brings insider knowledge of how the government builds cases—knowledge he now uses to defend clients facing serious criminal charges.
With over 100 jury trial victories, Michael has successfully defended clients in cases ranging from white-collar fraud to violent felonies. He is known for his meticulous preparation, persuasive advocacy, and ability to connect with jurors.
Michael is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and regularly trains other attorneys in trial advocacy techniques.
